“Do you have bins, buckets, totes and bags full of scraps? Have I got a deal for you. I will be teaching a class on the Potato Chip Clock on April 22 from 9:30-4:00. Cost is $5.00. There will be a sign up sheet at the March meeting, please pay when you sign up. Each block is made up of 18, 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 in pieces. So start cutting your scraps into 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 in pieces, you will need a lot of them. Cut every color and texture, come prepared to trade with other people in the class. You can also use a focus fabric in the middle of the block, you will need at least a yard of the focus fabric. There will be an iron and ironing board as well as several cutting mats available for you. Bring all the basic sewing stuff and an extension cord. ""
I have several patterns that are variation of the Potato Chip block that I will give you during the class. Questions, call or text me at 402-301-9520 .
